Privacy Policy

CWD Consulting ("CWD", "we", "us") provides investment research and strategic consulting to independent financial advisors and boutique investment management firms. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• If you use the "Get the Free PDF" form on our site: your name, work email address, and firm name if you choose to give it.
• If you email or call us directly (including via the links in our site footer or contact details): whatever information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and the contents of your message.

We don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, and we don't ask for any information beyond what's listed above.

How we use it

We use the information you give us to send you the resource you asked for, to respond to your enquiry, and, where relevant, to follow up about CWD's research services if that seems useful to you. We don't sell your information to anyone, and we don't share it with third parties except the service providers below, who process it strictly on our behalf.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are processed through Netlify's form-handling service, and the site itself is hosted on Netlify. Email correspondence is handled through Microsoft 365. Both are established providers with their own security and data protection measures.

Third-party embeds

Some pages on this site embed videos hosted on YouTube (owned by Google). When you view a page with an embedded video, YouTube may set its own cookies or collect technical data in line with Google's privacy policy, independent of anything CWD does. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering those fonts.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you give us for as long as it's relevant to our relationship with you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. To do any of this, email chris@cwdresearchconsulting.com or michael@cwdresearchconsulting.com.

Children

This site and our services are intended for investment professionals and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site or our services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
